\u00d6r\u00fcc\u00fc has a bachelor’s degree from METU Mining Engineering Department and received her master’s degree in climate and energy policies from Oxford University Environmental Change Institute in 2005. After completing her doctorate in METU Earth Sciences Department, she worked as a research assistant in the same department for three years.<\/p>\n

Ay\u015fe Yasemin \u00d6r\u00fcc\u00fc, who has worked on energy and climate policies at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources for nine years, joined the World Bank’s Energy Team in 2014 and served as the chief negotiator on emission reduction in international climate change negotiations between 2005 and 2013.<\/p>\n

Playing a role in the energy and climate-related activities of organizations such as UNFCCC, OECD, EU, IPCC and IEA, \u00d6r\u00fcc\u00fc served as a spokesperson and expert for the environment, water control and climate change commissions of the Turkish Grand National Assembly for two years.<\/p>\n

Ay\u015fe Yasemin \u00d6r\u00fcc\u00fc, one of the founding members of the Climate Research Association, still works as an energy sector manager at the World Bank.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
