
Didem Mahsunlar is an innovation and sustainability consultant in the Agricultural-Food Sector. She has been a facilitator and member of the Marmaris Bee Pastures and Climate Resilience project managed by the Climate Research Association since 2022. Since 2018, she has been working with different actors in the food system such as companies, cities and civil society organizations, on environmental impact reduction, resource efficiency projects, and circular business models. She supports impact investments in the food ecosystem with mentoring and training programs.
Didem, who worked as an R&D manager in the food sector between 1999-2018, specialized in Innovation and Product/Market Development, and worked with international teams with different preferences and skills working in three countries. Didem, who has a bachelor’s degree in food engineering from Middle East Technical University, is an active member of the Yeditepe University Food Engineering Department as a part-time lecturer in the curriculum on ecosystem approach, sustainability, and circular economy solutions in food education.
